'Twilite Prairieblues': This hybrid, one of several in the Prairieblue series developed by the Chicago Botanical Garden, is a cross between B.The plants are 3 feet tall by 3 feet wide. alba has butter-yellow flowers on 18-inch-long spikes that bloom for up to six weeks. ‘Carolina Moonlight’: This cross between B.It has purple eyes in the center of the blue flowers. Both the waxy stem and calyx of the white wild indigo remind me of my favorite houseplants. I like to grown sedums and succulents at home. In this image you can see how it stands out above other early summer forbs. I love the way it shoots up over other prairie flowers and grasses.
